Creator of Emily the Strange and owner of Cosmic Debris Rob Reger hopes to raise $55,000 dollars in the next 30 days to produce and release the first ever Emily the Strange animated music video and rock-n-roll single. This initial release officially launches the character's virtual animated band "Emily and the Strangers." In fact I think you first told me about this paradise... What are you looking for today? What will you be using it for? Money Mark: yo! whatup emily?! yeah, this is one of my favorite stores to visit when im trying to get ideas for making stuff....today im looking for parts to make another talkbox.  So your full name is Mark Ramos Nishita, but are more famously known as Money Mark. How did that strange name come about? the beastie boys gave me that name and was famously used in the song 'finger lickin good' also name dropped in that song is patty duke, minnie the moocher, pete the puma and some other cool names..... Is it true that a band is only as good as it's keyboard player? well i think the rhythmn section has to kick butt and that sometimes could mean bass guitar and drums together. keyboards could be part of that or do cool melodies or who knows? keyboards include synthesizers so its very powerful to play keys..... EMILY: Hi Chantal! Long time no see. Glad you could meet me here are Playclothes. I'm told this place has some real finds... That's a wicked cool outfit you are wearing... Perfectly strange! are those live butterflies in your hair? How do you get them to stay with you like that? Vampire BATS, they would be bats CC: Hellloooo Emily. I get them to stay in by telling them I am Transylvanian so techincally it would be a part of my heritage to have them stay with me as my familiars.  Can would you describe what you are wearing, to the folks who are reading this? Black and white striped body-con dress. Red leather beatleboots that I've had since I was 15 years old that I got on St. Marks Place from Trash N Vaudville, I have them in every color, and a name necklace that says "CHANTAL" so I don't forget my name. What are you looking for today in this wild vintage shop called Playclothes? I am always on the lookout for a good old concert tee. I found an awesome Motorhead one last time for $10 and it fit perfectly. I love Lemmy, I have a wide selection of Motorhead tees.
