"I love the sound when I smash some glass!" Emily says of a dark corner in her basement where she busts stuff up, kills TV sets, and gets in some serious slingshot target practice.

It's also an ideal place for dissecting junk and breaking things down into the pieces she needs for The Oddisee and her other creations.

Once a month Emily pays homage to the departed garbage with a tasteful funeral service (third Thursdays, only at midnight).
